Abstract
The RIPE Database Requirements Task Force recommended that address space an LIR issues to another organisation be documented in the RIPE Database. This talk looks at how registration practices today under the current policy (ripe-826) meet that recommendation, where they fall short, and the impact that has on those who rely on the Database.

Before KIPA he spent fourteen years inside the system he now advises on: Chief Registry Officer at the RIPE NCC, co-chair of the RIPE Address Policy Working Group, and co-chair of the RIPE Database Requirements Task Force that produced ripe-767. He has also served on the ICANN ASO Address Council and held network and address management roles at Liberty Global and Amazon Web Services. All starting in 2009 as an IP Resource Analyst at the RIPE NCC.
