BIX.BG is the first neutral Bulgarian Internet Exchange Point (IXP) and was incorporated in Sofia, Bulgaria in June 2009. Shortly after the company was established, BIX.BG became a member of the European Internet Exchange Association (EURO-IX). With its eight Points of Presence (PoPs), BIX.BG has more than 50 members from Bulgaria and the region.

The RIPE NCC is the secretariat of the RIPE community and coordinates its meetings and events among other activities.
