You can take a RIPE NCC Academy Certification Exam for free during the RIPE Meeting from Monday, 26 October, to Wednesday, 28 October 2026.

No voucher is needed. A dedicated exam room equipped with a laptop will be available at the meeting venue. You are welcome to take one, several or all of our exams, subject to slot availability:

  • RIPE Database
  • BGP Security
  • LIR Fundamentals
  • IPv6 Fundamentals
  • IPv6 Security

Exam Slots

The available time slots per day are:

  • Monday: 10:00 to 17:00
  • Tuesday: 10:00 to 17:00
  • Wednesday: 10:00 to 17:00

Requirements

  • Registering is easy. Let us know your preferred day and time, and we will reserve your spot. Send us an email with your preferred slot at exams@ripe.net.
  • Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is recommended.
  • Each exam takes a maximum of 60 minutes, with the exception of the LIR Fundamentals exam, which takes 35 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can get you set up and ready to start on time.
  • You need to have a photo ID document with you.
  • No voucher or payment is required. Just show up, check in and take your exam for free.

Please note that we have a limited number of exam slots and promotional items available. We cannot guarantee availability.
