IPv6 - Main Room (Thu, 09:00)
This is a draft agenda: changes are still being made.
A presentation on work involving the Identifier Locator Network Protocol (ILNP) at RIPE92/Edinburgh led to many discussions with attendees during the remainder of the meeting. All of them wanted to know more about ILNP. So, this talk presents the "Why?", "What?", and "How?" of ILNP:
- Why does ILNP exist?
- What exactly is it?
- How does it work?
This talk describes how ILNP works across today's IPv6 infrastructure, how it is backwards compatible with today's IPv6 applications, and how it offers…
After my talk at RIPE92 in Edinburgh some changes have been made to the WinCLAT feature. This talk gives a short overview of the changes made and the implications coming from this changes for the network design. Additionally, some questions came up about the DHCPv4 design in an IPv6-mosty network. The talk will show possible solutions for the DHCPv4 network design.
This is a short summary of ongoing and recently published IETF work in IPv6 area, which might be of interest (or might have direct impact) on operators running IPv6 networks.
